Gianluca is the General Manager of Parco Tecnologico Padano, a science and Technology Park specialized in bioeconomy (Lodi, Italy). He also coordinates of the incubator program for innovative start-ups in the agrofood & health sector.
Gianluca is also currently running an incubator program for innovative start-ups in the agrofood & health sector, namely ALIMENTA, and is member of the board of start-up companies. He is expert in consultancy for selection of funding opportunites for innovative SMEs, and also provides technical assistance in the due diligence finance process, business planning consultancy and cluster management and cooperation.
Since 2010, he has acted as the coordinator of the national working group on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy in ASSOBIOTEC, the Italian association of biotech industries, affiliated to Confindustria-Federchimica. Since 2012, he has been a member of the board of directors of APSTI, the Italian association of Science and Technology Parks. Gianluca is also coordinating the activities of CAT.AL, the Cluster High Technology Agrofood in Lombardia Region.
Since 2014, Gianluca has been a member of the strategic committee of the Banca Popolare di Lodi Foundation.
Gianluca has also been an expert in cluster management and benchmarking (ESCA certified benchmarking expert) and is the technical coordinator of the international project “Feeding the Planet” for internationalization in emerging markets of SME’s of three major food cluster in Europe.
