Eric Hallberg, Ph.D.Eric Hallberg, Ph.D. is the Chairman of the Aerospace Engineering Department at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.  Dr. Hallberg has over 1500 flight hours and 300 arrested landings as a Naval Flight Officer flying the A-6E Intruder all-weather attack aircraft deployed worldwide on the USS Forrestal, CV-59, and USS George Washington, CVN-73, aircraft carriers. In addition to leading the nation’s premier undergraduate aerospace engineering program tasked with educating the future leadership of Naval Aviation, Dr. Hallberg provides aeronautical engineering, systems engineering, test and evaluation engineering and technical and program management support to industry and government programs.Dr. Hallberg’s academic expertise is in fluid mechanics, control theory and applied mathematics. Dr. Hallberg serves on the Board of Directors for Flowmetric Inc.
