FlowMetric Selects Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center for Headquarters

FlowMetric, Inc, a niche CRO delivering polychromatic flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry (IHC) outsource services to bio-pharma companies, is pleased to announce that it has selected the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center as the location for its new clinical and medical diagnostic laboratory.

“We are very excited to be moving into the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center,” said Renold Capocasale, Founder & CEO of FlowMetric. “The center offers state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment of scientists and business innovators.” With clients ranging from world-class bio-pharmaceutical companies to niche drug discovery companies, FlowMetric sought a location with high-tech labs and instrumentation, but also a research-based environment that fosters collaboration and communication between entrepreneurs and scientists.

Located in the heart of the nation’s east coast pharmaceutical and biotechnology corridor, the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center opened in September 2006 to provide a facility where academic scientists and entrepreneurs can work together to translate innovations in the laboratory to the marketplace where they will benefit patients.

Renold Capocasale founded FlowMetric after over twenty years in polychromatic flow cytometry and pharmaceutical research. As a Senior Research Scientist for Centocor Discovery Research, a Johnson & Johnson Company, Mr. Capocasale learned first hand the value that top-notch facilities coupled with access to leading scientific minds offers.
